Every Bethliving product is built to a precise sheet gauge protocol — one that prioritises structural integrity over cost-cutting. Load-bearing structures are formed from 1.0 mm steel, while base frames — which carry the full weight of the unit and its contents — are specified at a heavier 1.5 mm, a standard significantly above common industry practice. All outer coverings and panel surfaces are finished at 0.63 mm, delivering a refined, rigid surface without unnecessary material waste. Virgin, uncoated stainless steel sheets — where used — are supplied with a PVC protective film and a #4 Satin finish, preserving the mill-fresh surface integrity right through to installation.
Primary structural members — uprights, cross-members, internal frames
Floor-contact frames carrying full unit and content load — above industry standard
Rigid outer and inner panel surfaces — facia, side panels, back panels
Uncoated virgin stainless steel sheets supplied with PVC protective film & mill #4 Satin finish — preserving surface integrity to point of installation
Standard soft closing
Applied on GI & ACS steel ranges for primary corrosion protection. SS 304 uses natural mill finish as base layer.
Epoxy primer for maximum adhesion and added corrosion resistance before the colour coat.
26 standard colours, 5 wooden textures, transfer printing options, or any RAL custom colour match.
Top clear coat providing scratch resistance, UV protection & long-term surface durability.
Bethliving offers one of the widest colour and surface finish selections in the Indian steel interiors category — from 40 curated solid colours and hundreds of RAL custom options, to wood grain textures, transfer-printed patterns and advanced nano-coating finishes. Whatever your interior aesthetic, there is a Bethliving surface specification to match it.
Steel is naturally fire resistant — a critical safety advantage over MDF, plywood or wood-based modular kitchens.
Bethliving operates a continuous research and development programme — constantly stress-testing materials, refining joinery systems, and advancing surface coating technologies. The result: products that are always ahead of where the industry is today.
Our engineering team runs ongoing material science research — from steel alloy performance under tropical Indian conditions to next-generation coating systems. Bethliving labs test to standards that don’t yet exist on Indian regulatory frameworks.
Because Bethliving’s R&D never stops, our design patents and product specifications are continuously updated — sometimes ahead of any formal product announcement. If a material performs better, we switch. If a coating system is more durable, we upgrade. If a joinery detail is stronger, we patent it and build it in. This means the product delivered to your home may incorporate improvements not yet reflected in published literature — and that is precisely the point. You receive the most engineered version of the product available at the time of manufacture.
The specifications published on this page represent the full range of standards applicable across Bethliving’s product portfolio. The specific combination of material grade, sheet gauge, coating system, hardware, and finish applicable to any given product will vary based on the precise module, range, and configuration chosen. Customers are advised to confirm the exact applicable specifications for their chosen product with their nearest Bethliving store or authorised franchise partner before finalising their selection.
Bethliving’s premium Combi Deluxe range uses AISI Grade 304 stainless steel throughout — facia, carcass, skirting and legs. Other ranges combine SS 202, GI and ACS steel depending on the product and budget requirement.
Zero Wood Zero PUF means Bethliving’s products contain absolutely no wood, MDF, plywood or polyurethane foam — all structural and decorative components are made from steel. This makes them fire-resistant, pest-proof, waterproof and fully recyclable.
